interesting things that happened to me today:

- it was so cold that i couldn't open unlock my door on the drivers side of the car this morning. luckily, i was able to pry open the passenger's side after 10 frantic minutes in which i thought my hands had permanently frozen into a claw-like position. thankfully my driver's side door unlocked half an hour into my drive to work.

- the scary co-worker who's been hitting on me leaned in too close and sniffed me several times today in the machine shop, while i was trying to talk to him about this piece we need to machine for our new project. he insisted that he was trying to figure out my perfume even after i shouted the name of it at him repeatedly. i'm going to have to elevate the threat status of this situation with this guy from yellow to orange after today's incident.

-i realized that today's date was 03/03/03. I thought it was pretty neat but my neighbouring co-workers merely nodded weakly, smiled faintly and quickly turned back to their work. i decided i'll be keeping those interesting tidbits to myself next time, thank you very much!

-at lunch today, another co-worker of mine said he wanted to try smoking grapes. turned out he was joking but the long awkward silence that followed that rather odd admission showed that rest of us weren't sure if he was being serious or not.
