I find myself daydreaming at work a lot these days - fingers suspended midair, hovering somewhere over my keyboard, mouth slightly ajar, and my eyes glazed over lending a blank expression on my face, as my mind hurtles a gazillion kilometers away.

And that's just when my boss is talking to me.

Maybe its because the atmosphere at my workplace is only slightly more lively than the inside of an ancient Egyptian tomb (one that hasn't been been in centuries, that is). But maybe its because I wish I was on vacation again and the fact that I have no more vacation time left for the rest of the year is finally sinking in. I think after years of having at least a few months off from my regular routine on an annual basis has left me unprepared for this "two weeks vacation after a year" business.

I've give anything to be walking alongside the ocean right now instead of sitting in front of the computer. Sigh.
